Prince George’s County Government is seeking an Investigator 2G in the Office of Homeland Security, located in Landover, MD. The role demands expert investigative judgment, coordination with infrastructure stakeholders, and the development of risk assessments to strengthen county resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminology, criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field.
• At least 1 year of investigative experience and training conducting security surveys and/or vulnerability assessments.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional-level administrative, supervisory and investigative work.
• Lead role in assessing and interpreting complex critical infrastructure systems.
• Develop risk and threat assessments to strengthen resilience and continuity.
• Collaborate with public, private sectors, and government partners.
• Provide strategic recommendations and investigative oversight for decision making.
• Prepare reports and briefings for the Office of Homeland Security.
• Support emergency management activities and coordination with first responders.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders as needed.
