Job Description

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Responsible for executing Asset Protection initiatives across assigned locations (4-8 stores) and implementing shortage reduction programs in high-shrink areas.
  • Partner with local store management to meet strategic Asset Protection goals.
  • Leverage business and sales performance data to reduce shortages.
  • Participate in training store associates on approved Asset Protection initiatives and workshops.
  • Conduct operational audits to assess store operations, pre-shrink indicators, and safety compliance.
  • Train store personnel on safety communication and crisis management protocols.
  • Monitor controls and conduct surveillance to identify and investigate dishonesty among associates.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, cash losses, and policy violations.
  • Use CCTV and floor techniques to deter and apprehend theft, following company policies.
  • Support investigations related to Organized Retail Crime in collaboration with Zone ORC Investigators and law enforcement.
  • Complete any special projects assigned by the Regional Manager of Asset Protection.

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Preferred 4-year degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Asset Protection or a relevant retail role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to evaluate situations and make timely decisions within apprehension guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work nights, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski interview training is preferred.
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements, including standing and walking.
