Job Description

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Responsible for executing Asset Protection initiatives across 4-8 stores and implementing shortage reduction programs in high-shrink locations.
  • Partner with store management to meet strategic Asset Protection objectives.
  • Leverage business and sales performance to reduce shortages.
  • Participate in training store associates on Asset Protection initiatives and workshops.
  • Conduct operational audits to assess store operations, pre-shrink indicators, and safety compliance.
  • Train staff on safety communication and crisis management protocols.
  • Monitor controls and conduct surveillance to detect associate dishonesty.
  • Investigate inventory, cash loss, and policy violations.
  • Use CCTV and floor techniques to deter theft, in line with company policies.
  • Support investigations related to Organized Retail Crime, collaborating with law enforcement and partners.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Regional Asset Protection Manager.

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • At least 2 years of experience in Asset Protection or retail security.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess situations and make timely decisions.
  • Availability to work nights, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Successful passing of a background check.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Preferred training in Wicklander-Zulawski interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing and walking.
