Pinkerton, a global risk management leader, seeks an Investigative Analyst assigned to a client to monitor open-source information, news, government alerts and industry feeds to identify threats affecting personnel and operations.

You will produce concise intelligence reports, support crisis management, collaborate with Protection Services, HR, Legal and Communications, and help ensure accurate, actionable situational awareness across incidents.

Qualifications

The Investigative Analyst, assigned to a specific client, will be responsible for monitoring a wide range of information sources and intelligence feeds to identify potential threats impacting personnel and operations. This role involves producing concise intelligence reports and providing real-time situational awareness during incidents, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to align intelligence with organizational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Monitor open-source information, global news, government alerts, and industry intelligence feeds to identify events that may affect personnel, travelers, or business operations.
  • Track emerging geopolitical, security, environmental, and operational risks and accelerate relevant findings to leadership.
  • Develop and manage intelligence investigations into significant incidents or threats, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Support internal investigations to protect assets and mitigate risk.
  • Observe publicly available online discussions and digital environments for indicators of reputational or security-related concerns involving the company, its brands, or senior leaders, using approved tools.
  • Receive and assess automated alerts, conducting initial reviews to determine relevance and risk.
  • Document findings and expedite alerts that meet defined criteria to the appropriate internal partners.
  • Produce concise, actionable intelligence summaries, alerts, and situational updates for leadership, including event overviews, assessed business impact, and recommended or completed actions.
  • Develop ad-hoc intelligence products such as threat assessments, risk assessments, travel briefings, and post-incident reports.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all written products.
  • Support crisis management teams and business leaders during incidents by providing real-time situational awareness and validated information.
  • Provide real-time situational awareness and validated information to crisis management teams.
  • Utilize the emergency notification system to support employee outreach, awareness messaging, and incident communication workflows.
  • Assist in the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of intelligence platforms, alerting tools, and monitoring systems.
  • Maintain and update operational datasets, including contact lists, asset inventories, and distribution groups to ensure accurate and timely outreach during incidents.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Protection Services, Physical Security, HR, Legal, and Communications to align intelligence outputs with organizational needs.
  • Establish and maintain networks with external intelligence and law enforcement entities for information sharing and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, security studies, or a related field with at least three years of experience in security intelligence or threat analysis. This position requires completion of Pinkerton's licensing process which will require additional training and may include verification of required licenses and affiliation to the appropriate Pinkerton entity.
