Job summary

Pinkerton is seeking an Intelligence Analyst assigned to a specific client to serve as the expert on intelligence matters, monitoring geopolitical events, OSINT sources, and threat actors to compile intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts for mitigation strategies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 1–3 years of intelligence experience, bilingual skills with Spanish preferred, and the ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1–3 years intelligence experience in a military, government, or corporate security context.
• Bilingual skills; Spanish preferred.
• Familiarity with open-source and social media intelligence collection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OSINT sources daily including press, subscriptions, and social media.
• Monitor, track, and communicate risk impact to the customer.
• Articulate key findings with a focus on the assigned region in written and verbal formats.
• Continuously refine OSINT tools, subscriptions, and queries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple lines of business.
• Suggest improvements to procedures and program documents.
• Establish and maintain systematic intelligence records and files.
• Receive and process incoming report requests and messages.
• Initiate, execute, and maintain intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization.
• Evaluate datasets with site-specific threats to improve predictive capabilities.
• Safeguard highly sensitive and confidential information.
• All other duties, as assigned.

The Intelligence Analyst, assigned to a specific client, serves as the expert on all intelligence-related matters, encompassing processes, support needs, and technical details. The Analyst monitors geopolitical events, social unrest, natural disasters, and threat actors/organizations and compiles the data into intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts, with a focus on assessing operational risks and developing strategies for mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection of intelligence information used to populate various standard reports and updates.
• Monitor press, intelligence subscriptions, social media posts, and other OSINT sources daily.
• Monitor, track, and communicate risk impact to the customer.
• Articulate key findings extrapolated from sourced data with a focus on the assigned region including the completion of written assessments, formal report writing, and verbal briefings to key stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and refine OSINT tools, subscriptions, and queries.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and partners across multiple lines of business.
• Suggest improvements to standard operating procedures and program documents.
• Establish and maintain systematic, cross referenced intelligence records and files.
• Receive and process incoming report requests and messages.
• Initiate, execute, and maintain intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization.
• Evaluate datasets with site-specific threats to be more predictive about sites facing the highest risk of impact.
• Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Business, or related field or one to three years of intelligence experience in a military, government, or corporate security environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

• Bilingual skills; Spanish preferred.
• Familiarity with Dataminr, LexisNexis, Seerist Core (Control Risk), International SOS, Avigilon, and RS2 platforms, preferred.
• Knowledge in the research and understanding of intelligence-gathering techniques, including the use of open-source and social media sources.
• Able to identify and solve complex problems by analyzing data and information from multiple unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product.
• Client orientated and results driven.
• Able to work independently with little supervision and under adverse and stressful conditions.
• Able to present and defend intelligence positions to a variety of audiences and stakeholders.
