Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) invites applications for the ILED Intern in the 2027 Spring Internship class, supporting the END OSEC Center to combat online child exploitation. The role offers 20–40 hours weekly, with a monthly stipend and flexible options including in-person, hybrid, or remote work.

The internship reports to the Director, END OSEC Center and runs Jan 11–Apr 9, 2027, with a September 25, 2026 deadline for applications.

Qualifications

As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking an Investigations & Law Enforcement Development (ILED) Intern to join the 2027 Spring Internship class. The ILED Intern will support various initiatives executed by the END OSEC Center, working to combat the online sexual exploitation of children.

Tasks may include:

• Providing support to ongoing project activities and law enforcement trainings;
• Assisting with internal communication and partnership management;
• Monitoring and implementing key ILED projects;
• Participating in departmental and general IJM administrative support.

This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to the Director, END OSEC Center. The position requires 20-40 hours per week, primarily during the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm EST. As volunteers, interns and fellows receive a monthly stipend to help defray their expenses related to participating in the internship program. This volunteer stipend is not an hourly wage, nor wages paid for services provided by the intern or fellow. Spring internship program dates are January 11 – April 9, 2027. • At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations.
• Experience or interest in law or law enforcement.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
