Job summary

The Nevada Gaming Control Board seeks dedicated professionals to join our team as an Agent in Carson City, Reno or Las Vegas. This role protects Nevada's gaming integrity by conducting investigations, gathering and analyzing information, and supporting fair regulation.

Candidates should show sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and a passion for public service. Under supervision, you will assess applications, potentially lead a team, and produce comprehensive investigative reports for

Qualifications

2 years of education and professional level experience in fields like accounting, auditing, finance, or similar areas, or equivalent combination; substitutions allowed year-for-year.
Knowledge of investigative methods, gaming laws and licensing processes.
Ability to analyze information and prepare comprehensive investigative reports.

Responsibilities

Investigate license applicants and other transactions requiring Board action.
Potentially supervise a team of investigators as field supervisor.
Collect, analyze, and document information; prepare reports for the Board and Commission.
Provide training, direction, and supervision to subordinates on projects and admin duties.
