Alcanza Clinical Research seeks an Investigational Product Coordinator to prepare and dispense study medications, ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA and USP standards. The role coordinates drug distribution and supports staff with drug-related information.

Responsibilities include inventory management, proper storage, and adherence to SOPs. The position emphasizes patient safety, training, and collaboration within a multi-site research network.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 1+ years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, label, and dispense investigational medications per protocol and SOPs.
• Coordinate drug distribution and provide information to subjects and staff.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure proper storage conditions for investigational meds.
• Ensure safety and care for subjects relating to medication handling and dispensing.
• Mentor staff and support departmental goals and ongoing education.
