Alaska Department of Corrections is hiring at Goose Creek Correctional Center in Mackenzie Point, Alaska. The Stock & Parts Services 2 position supports inventory, warehouse operations, and maintenance coordination within a minimum/medium custody correctional setting.

You will count, verify, and organize inventory, review usage trends, and maintain records of receipts and disbursements, contributing to efficient daily operations at the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in purchasing, unloading, receiving, handling, storing, inventorying, issuing, or delivering supplies/equipment/parts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, organized warehouse environment and ensures proper storage of items.
• Performs minor facility maintenance and coordinates additional maintenance support.
• Completes and maintains documentation, reports and filing related to inventory and warehouse operations.
• Accurately identifies, counts, scans and verifies items for correct placement and location.
• Reviews inventory for usage trends, reorder points, quantities and obsolescence; adjusts inventory levels accordingly.
• Ensures accurate records of receipts and disbursements.
