Job summary

Goose Creek Correctional Center is hiring a Stock & Parts Services 2 position to support the Goose Creek Correctional Center in Mackenzie Point, Alaska. The role focuses on maintaining an organized warehouse, accurate inventory, and coordination of maintenance and documentation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in stock, purchasing, unloading, receiving, storing and delivering supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in routine purchasing, unloading, receiving, handling, storing, inventorying, issuing, and/or delivering supplies.
• Experience with stock and parts services or procurement within a state agency or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and ensure proper storage and display of items.
• Perform minor facility maintenance and coordinate additional maintenance support.
• Complete and maintain inventory documentation, reports and daily filing.
• Identify, count, scan and verify items for correct placement and location.
• Review inventory for usage trends, reorder points and obsolescence; adjust inventory accordingly.
