Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Bolingbrook facility to oversee inventory, logistics and incoming materials. You will work with in-house buyers to maintain stocking levels, implement processes for accuracy, and deliver materials to manufacturing as needed.

You will directly supervise the Bolingbrook receiving, shipping team and material handlers. The role requires 5+ years in inventory/warehouse management, a bachelor’s degree in operations or business management,

Qualifications

• Has a minimum of 5 years inventory / warehouse management experience.
• Hold a Bachelors degree, preferably in operations or business management; or equivalent experience.
• Shows outstanding leadership qualities and supervisory experience in a high pace environment.
• Has demonstrated understanding of ERP system, JDE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy a holistic inventory plan within the Bolingbrook factory to maintain accurate levels and eliminate obsolete inventory.
• Drive an organized receiving, shipping and material handler team with defined standard work processes and timely material delivery.
• Ensure warehouse layout is safe, organized and ergonomically efficient.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and communicate inaccuracies to supply chain for long-term solutions.
• Introduce new technology to improve transactional accuracy and refine processes.
