Job summary

SHI is seeking an Inventory Advisor in New Jersey to manage inventory counts, transfers, labeling, and stock replenishment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will record serial numbers, handle returns, and ensure accurate stock levels while supporting other warehouse roles during peak periods.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic Windows/Excel skills, and forklift safety training within 30 days of hire. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• English communication skills required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must operate a computer in a Windows environment.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Forklift safety and operation training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory cycle counts for accuracy and verification.
• Process transfer requests submitted by sales, configuration staff, customers.
• Re-label and store invoiced products back into stock under customer variants.
• Compile stock returned to vendors for the returns department.
• Restock bins with minimum quantity required.
• Record serial numbers in the Warehouse Management System for designated projects.
• Remove obsolete products from inventory as directed.
• Handle last-minute order changes.
• Provide coverage for other warehouse roles during high volume.
