Job summary

White Cap Management LLC is seeking a Warehouse Manager – Inventory to lead stock control, optimize inventory levels, and coordinate with vendors. This role supports our growing distribution network in Florida, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost control across all warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in inventory management, purchasing, and team leadership, with a focus on reducing excess and dead stock while improving process reliability.

Qualifications

• Understanding of accounting basics and financial impact of inventory.
• Experience with inventory management and/or purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory by reducing exposure to excess stock, dead stock and write downs.
• Identifies slow or non-moving products and develops solutions.
• Manages vendor relations and vendor returns; analyzes forward buys to reduce exposure.
• Oversees inventory control team, managing hiring, training and development and performance appraisals.
• Trains associates on inventory systems and provides support for inventory issues.
• Analyzes trends, reports excess and dead stock, and reconciles inventory drift.
• Updates inventory lists and performs physical counts, adjustments and audits.
