Job summary

Aramark’s Inventory Manager role at the Market Center oversees product inventory, purchasing, receiving, and warehouse processes. You will lead the warehouse team, coach staff, and drive performance to meet financial metrics and client service goals.

Responsibilities include managing par levels, FIFO rotations, vendor coordination, weekly counts, and cross-functional collaboration to keep operations efficient and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse or related operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lb. unassisted.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Achieves financial objectives by participating in budget process, managing key metrics, identifying opportunities, and developing action plans for improvement.
• Procures products by setting a purchasing schedule, coordinating with vendors, and using the warehouse ordering tool to create purchase orders.
• Maintains the warehouse system to reflect accurate par levels of product, inventory level and accurate product master set-up.
• Implements FIFO product rotation, manages date codes and ensures temperature requirements are met.
• Controls inventory levels and costs by weekly physical counts and resolving variances with Finance.
• Optimizes inventory by analyzing trends and improving product days-on-hand and client fill rate metrics.
• Communicates with managers and frontline staff about voids, delays, or changes to meet client demand.
• Leads warehouse workforce and participates in hiring; provides training and performance management.
• Models and leads Service STARS culture and safety leadership within the Market Center.
• Owns and fosters effective communications at all levels of the organization.
