Job summary

Aramark in Los Angeles is seeking a Warehouse Manager responsible for inventory, purchasing, receiving, and distribution, ensuring adherence to policies and safety.

You will lead a warehouse team, manage performance, hiring, coaching, and development, monitor key metrics, and coordinate with internal and external contacts to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of relevant warehouse experience.
• Experience managing direct reports including hiring, coaching and development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs inbound and outbound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of products.
• Tracks, reconciles, and orders product inventories for the Market Center to effectively manage stock and weeks-on-hand.
• Communicates with managers and frontline staff about voids, delays or changes affecting client deliveries and discusses alternatives.
• Communicates with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment.
• Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates, and pulls product, ensuring safe practices.
• Participates in the hiring process for the warehouse team.
• Responsible for training, coaching and performance management of each team member.
• Monitors workflow and ensures inventories are pulled for daily routes.
• Supervises the completion of all daily warehouse work.

Job description

The Warehouse Manager is accountable for the Market Center’s product inventory, purchasing, receiving, warehouse processes, and distribution of products through the execution of standard operational policies and procedures. The manager coordinates, coaches, and performs performance management for the warehouse team, ensures financial objectives are met by managing key metrics, and provides safe and efficient service to internal and external contacts needing product or information. The role also supports safety leadership within the Market Center.

Compensation

Salary range: $68,000.00 to $75,000.00.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment
• Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates, and pulls product, ensuring work is completed using safe practices
• Participates in the hiring process for the warehouse team
• Responsible for the training, coaching and performance management of each team member
