Job summary

Therm-x of California seeks a Warehouse Process Engineer to optimize inventory and support a low-volume high-mix production schedule. The role involves cross-training in Purchasing, Receiving, and Kitting, plus coordinating packaging and sample sizing with the supply chain.

Candidates should have a BS in Engineering and strong analytical and lean manufacturing skills to drive efficiency and safety across warehousing operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)
• Experience in warehousing/inventory control and material handling
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and supply chain management

Responsibilities

• Assist in de-trashing of stored material and material handling
• Prepare inventory analyses and reports
• Identify and sort slow moving and high usage inventory
• Support cycle counting and part tracking for inventory traceability
• Support floor stock improvement programs
• Assist with material barcoding system implementation
• Conduct wall-to-wall inventory checks and audits
• Support kitting process efficiency improvements by analyzing workflows
• Report daily activities to supervisor
• Ensure safety standards are followed in all processes
• Coordinate packaging and sample sizing with supply chain
• Engage in other projects based on management discussions and data insights
