Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Associate Inventory Manager in Los Angeles, CA to oversee inventory for music and merchandise, work with vendors, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes.

In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor stock levels, and drive improvements in efficiency and reliability during peak periods, including events and Q4 activities. Fast-paced environment with a focus on operational excellence and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year using Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• 1 year in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet SLAs with quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory for music and merchandise categories; ensure in-stock availability.
• Identify and resolve out-of-stock and supply disruptions with proactive actions.
• Engage vendors to build strong partnerships and improve performance.
• Drive timely resolution of vendor issues and opportunities to improve supply chain.
• Diagnose root causes of recurring problems and implement scalable solutions.
• Surface potential disruptions before they impact performance.
• Collaborate with central supply chain, transportation, vendor management, and marketing.
• Manage day-to-day tasks and ensure SLAs meet defined quality standards.
• Develop and maintain reports on KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
• Support high-volume periods such as events and year-end peaks.
