Job summary

Chick-fil-A Fire Road is seeking an Inventory & Truck Ordering Specialist to manage product levels, place weekly truck orders, and verify deliveries to keep the kitchen and front of house well stocked. This full-time role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and hands-on ownership of back-of-house operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, receiving, warehouse, or back-of-house restaurant operations preferred, but not required.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Comfortable with basic math and counting.
• Able to lift and move boxes/cases up to 50 lbs and work in cooler/freezer environments.
• Willing to work a schedule that includes early morning truck deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and accurate inventory counts across food, paper, and supply categories.
• Place weekly (and as-needed) truck orders based on inventory counts, sales trends, and upcoming promotions or events.
• Receive and verify incoming truck deliveries against invoices, checking for accuracy and temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, and label product using FIFO standards.
• Monitor par levels and communicate shortages or overages to leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas (walk-in cooler, freezer, and dry storage).
• Track and help manage food and paper costs as part of the restaurant's labor and P&L goals.
• Forecast product needs around seasonal menu changes and high-volume periods with Ops leadership.
• Support a culture of stewardship by responsibly managing restaurant resources.
