Job summary

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team handles end-to-end laboratory operations for customers across biopharma and pharma sectors. You will manage receiving, inventory control, and stock placement at customer sites while coordinating with teams to ensure accurate records.

The role requires ability to lift 50 lbs, strong communication, and at least 1 year in customer service or materials handling. GMP experience is highly valued and a willingness to work a physically demanding schedule is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year(s) of customer service, inventory replenishment or material handling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs; GMP facility experience desired.
• Microsoft Teams experience preferred; basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive products at customer dock or shipping/receiving point.
• Record receipts against packing slips and note discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in storerooms and customer areas.
• Transport consumables within the facility and stock POU locations.
• Transact stocking quantities using a scanner and our system.
• Conduct regular POU audits for signage and min/max levels.
• Act as primary contact for inventory availability issues.
• Support special projects, tours, and other onsite activities.
