Job summary

Herrick Labs is seeking a detail-oriented inventory clerk to assist with verification and counting of incoming items, processing receipts in our ERP system, and issuing material for production orders. You will kit materials for the production floor and support shipping/receiving activities, while maintaining organized inventory areas.

The role requires familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and strong analytical skills to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Must have attention to detail and analytical skills to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Experience with inventory processing, kitting, and shipping/receiving.
• 2 years in a general business environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Counts and verifies incoming receipt items against POs.
• Processes receipts in material inventory system.
• Issues material for manufacturing orders and/or engineering projects from stock.
• Prepares/kits material for production or engineering projects.
• Processes inbound and outbound field service material for service repairs.
• Stocks inventory shelving with received or returned stock items.
• Uses Deltek, Costpoint and RFgen to account for issues, returns, receipts and back orders.
• Identifies inventory transaction errors.
• Performs daily cycle counts and identifies discrepancies.

Assists in a variety of duties, including verifying and counting incoming items, processing items through material inventory system, issuing material for manufacturing orders, preparing kits, inspecting material, as well as organizing and maintaining inventory areas. Attention to detail, and proficiency with computer programs required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Counts and verifies incoming receipt items against PO’s.
• Processes receipts in material inventory system.
• Issues material for manufacturing orders and/or Engineering projects from stock.
• Prepares/kits material for the production floor and/or Engineering projects.
• Processes inbound and outbound field service material for service repairs.
• Manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.
• Uses Deltek, Costpoint and RFgen to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders.
• Identifies inventory related transaction errors.
• Performs daily cycle counts and identify discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with processing transactions in corporate ERP and MRP systems.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products, Excel and Word.
• Must have attention to detail, and analytical skills to resolve inventory discrepancies and priorities.
• Some experience and skills in inventory processing, kitting, and shipping and receiving.
• 2 years working in a general business environment.
