Job summary

Sensient Color Group in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Inventory Tech to perform daily cycle counts on the production floor and in the warehouse.

This essential role supports inventory accuracy and timely fulfillment of products, collaborating with operations to maintain safe, orderly material handling. You will label storage spaces, load and unload pallets, process customer returns, and help maintain ERP and Excel driven records.

Qualifications

• Experience as Material Handler or Warehouse Associate; cycle counting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, dexterity and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Experience with Excel and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse; verify inventory on stock outs and shortages.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by researching variances and maintaining storage locations; monitor material receiving and movements.
• Maintain labeling for all storage spaces where material is stored.
• Load and unload pallets and cases to and from trucks; collect empty pallets and move them to storage.
• Process customer returns and assist in movements of the returned material.

We are adding an Inventory Tech to perform Cycle Counts daily. This is an essential position ensuring materials are handled in a safe and orderly manner to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of products. This position also supports the inventory needs of operations and inventory records accuracy.

What You'll Do:

• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse(s).Verify Inventory on stock outs and shortages.
• Ensure accuracy of the inventory by researching inventory variances, maintaining the integrity of product storage locations, and monitoring material receiving and other material movement transactions.
• Maintain labeling for all physical spaces where material is stored (a place for everything and a label for every place).
• Load and unload pallets and cases to and from trucks, and collect empty pallet boards and carry them to storage.
• Process Customer returns and assist in movements of the returned material

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position. Inventory and cycle counting experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, Organizational skills, Dexterity and attention to detail.
• Have forklift experience. Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Some experience in Excel and a respective ERP system preferred
