Job summary

St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital in Houston is seeking an Inventory Professional to efficiently manage supplies and equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring cost control.

You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory daily, perform counts, reconcile discrepancies, process orders, and use the inventory management system to keep par levels accurate while supporting patient care. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1 year supply chain experience.
• Experience with inventory handling and stock rotation.
• Familiarity with inventory software and data accuracy.
• Ability to perform counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory, generating orders as needed.
• Distributes medical supplies to patient care areas and monitors par levels.
• Identifies excess inventory, returns stock and processes credits.
• Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory.
• Participates in put away and validation of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the system.
• Maintains clean, orderly stock locations and labels bins; handles pars changes.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.

Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.

To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care
• Identified excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits
• Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory
• Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management system
• Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars

Pay Range

$17.71 - $25.02 /hour
