Job summary

St. Luke's Health-The Vintage Hospital in Northwest Houston is seeking an Inventory Professional to manage stock, reconcile counts, and support cost control. You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory daily using our management systems.

Ideal candidates have meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and at least three years of inventory experience; proficiency with inventory software is preferred for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' inventory management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to receive, stock, issue, and track inventory using management systems.

Responsibilities

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory; generates orders as needed.
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas.
• Monitors par levels to maintain appropriate stock for patient care.
• Identifies excess inventory; returns stock and notifies supervisor.
• Participates in put-away and validation of perpetual inventory items.
• Labels bins; maintains clean and orderly stock locations.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.

Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.

To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas
• Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care
• Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits; notifies supervisor of outdated or slow moving inventory
• Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items, and issues and credits materials from the inventory management point-of-use system
• Labels bins and handles requests to change pars; maintains clean and orderly stock locations

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate General Studies and Minimum of three (3) years' experience of inventory management or other relevant experience, upon hire or
