Job summary

CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs is seeking an Inventory Professional to efficiently manage supplies and equipment and maintain optimal stock levels.

You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory daily, perform counts, reconcile discrepancies, and use inventory management systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of supply chain related experience.
• Experience using inventory systems or software.

Responsibilities

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory to maintain accurate levels.
• Distributes supplies to patient care areas while monitoring par levels.
• Identifies excess inventory, returns stock and processes credits.
• Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving items.
• Participates in put away and validation of inventory; issues and credits materials.
• Keeps stock locations clean and labeled; handles pars changes.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.

Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.

To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed

• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care

• Identified excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits

• Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory

• Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management system

• Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars

Pay Range

$15.67 - $22.14 /hour
