Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy across multiple systems and maintain efficient inventory control. You will manage user access within the Warehouse Management System and collaborate with site teams to address inquiries and discrepancies.

The role involves developing monthly inventory reports, contributing to system procedures, and participating in validation and change management to meet standards. On-site work at designated locations is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior job experience within the plant is preferred.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting, and multitasking are required.

Main Purpose of Role

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure inventory accuracy across multiple systems to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the functionality of inventory systems to support operational efficiency.
  • Manage user access and ensure reliable equipment connectivity within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct investigations into inventory discrepancies, implementing necessary corrections to maintain accuracy.
  • Collaborate directly with site teams to address all inventory‑related inquiries and requests.
  • Develop and oversee monthly inventory reports to provide insightful data analysis and trend identification.
  • Contribute to the creation and approval of system‑related procedures, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.
  • Participate in the validation and change management processes to ensure systems meet required validation standards.
  • Provide support for inventory audits at various sites to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior job experience within the plant
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask.

The base pay for this position is $24.65 – $49.25/hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Locations

This position may be based at any of the following company locations: Columbus, OH; Tipp City, OH; Sturgis, MI; Altavista, VA; or CasaGrande, AZ. Candidates must be physically located and work onsite at one of these plant or distribution center locations.
