Job Description

EBAD seeks a skilled individual for the position Inventory Support Specialist and Delivery Truck Driver, reporting to the Supervisor, Material Control. The position is located in Simsbury, CT. The candidate will be responsible for supporting EBAD site operations and customer deliveries through the following duties:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe, secure, and efficient transportation, location, pickup, delivery, and storage of materials in compliance with EBAD policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform inventory transactions supporting supplier receipts and internal part distribution, ensuring accuracy of inventory records and alignment between physical counts and ERP system data.
• Transport production materials and energetic products by vehicle and on foot within EBAD's 700-acre facility. Occasional transport to suppliers and off-site locations, with vehicle driving approximately 10-20% of the time.
• Conduct weekly part cycle counts, support inventory physicals, quarterly audits, and other counts as requested.
• Maintain warehouse and magazine areas following 6S principles.
• Support replenishment of Kanban and consumable inventories.
• Assist with miscellaneous duties within Material Control as assigned by the supervisor.
• Uphold high ethical standards and provide exceptional customer service, capable of performing duties independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement preferred.

Experience/Skills:

• Ability to work independently and safely, interacting effectively across organizational levels.
• Must obtain or hold a "Possessors of Explosive Certification".
• DOT certification for "Transportation of Hazardous Materials" or successful completion of EBA&D Pure Safety certification training.
• IATA certification for "Dangerous Goods Transportation" or completion of relevant training.
• Strong mathematical problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and obtain necessary certifications. Prior experience is preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 75 lbs.
• Attention to detail.
