Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd. is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to monitor inventory levels across raw materials, components, and finished goods, while coordinating with Procurement and Production Planning to minimize shortages.

You will assist with cycle counts, create production travelers in SAP, and maintain material master data to ensure accurate records. The role focuses on data accuracy, efficient inventory control, and clear communication with multiple departments to

Responsibilities

• Inventory Monitoring & Control: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to identify potential shortages and discrepancies.
• Shortage Reduction: Proactively investigate and resolve material shortages, working with Procurement and Production Planning to expedite delivery or identify alternative solutions.
• Cycle Counting Support: Assist with regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Production Traveler Creation: Generate and distribute accurate production traveler documents from SAP, and additional sources ensuring all necessary information and media is included for production personnel.
• SAP Data Maintenance: Assist with maintaining accurate material master data in SAP, including descriptions, units of measure, and storage locations.
• Material Kitting: Support the kitting process by preparing material packages for production orders.
• Inventory Organization: Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
• Documentation & Reporting: Assist with creating and maintaining inventory-related reports.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with Production, Procurement, and other departments regarding inventory status and potential issues.
