Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Inventory Coordinator to manage stock, process orders, and reconcile inventory across warehouse and storage areas. The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping, data entry, and collaboration with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include maintaining FIFO, labeling by location, and performing routine discrepancy reviews while standing for long periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in inventory, purchasing, or warehouse operations.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• May require forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site storerooms by receiving, verifying, packing, sorting, and organizing inventory; ensure accurate labeling and organization by category and location.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, verify specifications and pricing, obtain approvals, and coordinate with suppliers for substitute items, quotes, and delivery instructions.
• Review and prepare discrepancy reports for credits or returns; resolve inventory issues and discrepancies in collaboration with relevant personnel.
• Monitor and maintain proper supply levels, ensuring timely stock transfers, bin-to-bin movements, and adherence to FIFO standards.
• Significant walking or other mobility; ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
