Job summary

Consolidated Metco in Monroe, NC seeks a Supply Chain Manager to oversee master scheduling, materials planning, warehouse operations, and inventory control at the main site and offsite locations. The position requires extensive experience in procurement, production planning, and inventory control, with a preference for APICS certification and strong ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university.
• Eight to ten years related experience in materials management background in manufacturing with the emphasis on procurement, production planning, and inventory control.
• APICS certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP Systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead master scheduling, materials planning, and inventory control in Monroe and offsite locations.
• Coordinate SAP master data, forecasting, and PO establishment for new product launches.
• Drive 95% inventory accuracy and cycle count programs.
• Improve inventory days and optimize plant-wide inventory with safety stock.
• Monitor KPIs for inventory management, planning, freight, packaging, and nonproduction materials.
• Ensure just-in-time supply of packaging, raw materials, WIP and components; resolve stock shortages.
