As the Inventory Control Supervisor, you are responsible for the employees in our facility, ensuring its effective operation by preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, coordinating the flow of work and assigned projects, overseeing completion of work, and monitoring performance of your team.
This is an onsite role in our Irving TX facility with a schedule of Friday - Sunday, 6AM – 6.30PM.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- In consultation with superior and subordinate personnel as appropriate, develops short- and long-term goals and plans for areas of responsibility.
- Liaison between teams, shifts, and departments, and partner with internal and external customers.
- Ensure accurate accounting and physical control and security of all material stored in stockroom locations, of all material issued to and returned from production, and of all finished goods and associated accessories.
- Supervise cycle count processes in all inventory areas and provide scheduled and ad hoc inventory reports.
- Supervise all stockroom activities, including material stocking, kitting, and delivery.
- Monitor delivery of handsets and accessories, and process RMA returns.
- Achieve HR objectives such as hiring, performance reviews, mentoring, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain an effective organization, including workflow, performance standards, duties, staffing, supervision, and communication systems.
- Create or modify processes with management to support new and existing accounts and products.
- Drive engagement and foster a strong team culture, utilizing tools like Peakon.
- Review performance metrics via Tableau and follow up on areas of opportunity.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment, supporting safety and environmental programs.
- Coordinate with other organizational components to develop cooperation and integrate services.
- Investigate complaints, determine veracity, and take corrective or disciplinary actions as needed.
- Stay updated on field developments through self-development and professional interactions, incorporating advancements as practical.
- Prepare, review, and interpret reports and analyses to monitor goal attainment and initiate corrective actions.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing or repair environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving environments.
- Ability to identify process improvements.
- Experience in supervision and coaching.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels and with external contacts.
- High energy, relationship-building skills, and goal orientation.
- Multitasking ability in a dynamic environment.
Additional helpful skills/experience
- Associate’s Degree and supervising 15+ hourly staff in a manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Pay Range:
$54,900.00 - $92,000.00
