Join to apply for the Operations Supervisor (Weekend shift) role at Assurant.

As the Manufacturing Operations Supervisor, you will supervise employees in our facility, ensuring effective operations by preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, coordinating workflows, overseeing work completion, and monitoring team performance. Attention to detail, supervisory skills, and experience in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, and warehousing are essential.

This is an onsite role at our DCC in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure adherence to company policies and standards, maintain employee morale, and oversee training.
2. Collaborate with management to establish and achieve department goals.
3. Drive process improvements and coordinate new product launches.
4. Act as liaison between teams, shifts, supervisors, departments, and external partners.
5. Handle HR objectives such as hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
6. Manage training matrices for accuracy and compliance.
7. Review reports to monitor performance metrics.
8. Foster a strong engagement culture and review engagement scores to create action plans.
9. Meet production standards and assist in resolving operational issues.
10. Control production expenses and ensure timely completion of reports.
11. Maintain a safe work environment according to standards and regulations.
12. Conduct regular performance meetings with associates.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing or repair environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, or related environments.
• Ability to identify process improvements.
• Supervisory and coaching experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• High energy and relationship-building skills.
• Interpersonal skills for problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Goal-oriented with multitasking abilities.
• Availability to work across multiple shifts if needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Associates Degree and experience supervising 15+ hourly associates.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Additional Details:

Pay Range: $54,900 - $92,000. Application deadline: 05/31/2025 (ongoing collection if blank).
