Job summary

Job description

Position Overview

Primary responsibility of Supervisor, Forward Stocking Operations is to supervise the day‑to‑day operations and administrative responsibilities of the Asurion forward stocking locations for various in‑home client programs. The Supervisor is an integral part of the Supply Chain Management support team, providing support and ensuring smooth and effective operations while delivering professional, fiscal, administrative, and clerical services to the department and management. This role promotes teamwork, collaboration, quality and production standards, professionalism, and integrity to ensure departmental results are delivered in accordance with Asurion Core Values.

Essential Job Skills / Duties
  • Plan and implement warehouse operations and provide administrative support to meet quality, productivity metrics and overall business needs.
  • Supervise teams to ensure product arrival dispositions follow process, inventory and shipping protocols.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to office management, including telephony, computers, printers and facilities.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through research and follow‑ups when discrepancies arise.
  • Update department work instructions and improve process flow.
  • Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned by manager.
  • Collaborate regularly and effectively across departmental boundaries.
  • Monitor and update applicable management software programs as needed.
  • Facilitate and supervise company vehicle parking, maintenance and overall compliance.
  • Operate daily in compliance with federal, state and local authorities.
Skills
  • Technical: Knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network designs and warehouse best practices; proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Vision: Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral, depth and focus vision as required.
  • Communication: Vocal communication skills for exchanging ideas and customer interaction; hearing required for normal spoken word level in noisy environments.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals, moving equipment, forklifts, and materials with sharp edges with risk of injury.
  • Soft/Leadership: Ability to identify root causes, handle ambiguity, verbal and written communication, presentation, team facilitation, multitasking, and priority setting.
Education and Experience
  • Required: 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Industrial Engineering.
