Job summary

Sleep Number Corporation seeks a Director of Inventory Planning & Operations to lead end-to-end inventory planning across the organization. You will partner with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to optimize service levels and inventory investment.

The role requires 10+ years in inventory planning and 5+ years managing teams, with ERP/WMS proficiency and strong analytics. Hybrid schedule; travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in inventory planning, supply chain, operations, or logistics.
• 5+ years leading managers and professional teams.
• Experience with multi-site distribution, fulfillment, or retail networks.
• Proficient with ERP/WMS implementations and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory planning strategies balancing service levels and investment.
• Lead inventory operations across warehouses and distribution centers.
• Drive S&OP/IBP processes and align plans with forecasts and capacity.
• Coach teams, set KPIs, and foster continuous improvement.
• Create dashboards and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
