What You Need to Know:

You will process supply totes that are used in the collection of blood products, and stock the kitting are a with supplies from the warehouse, daily, to ensure consistent availability of blood collection totes

As a Red Cross Team member, you will take care of your team members – show up for every shift and give 100% while you’re there. Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, always demonstrating care and compassion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control on equipment and supplies, rotate inventory and assure that supplies are stored and distributed in compliance with operating procedures and exposure control standards.

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and orders supplies as needed.

  • Fill order requisitions from mobiles and fixed sites.

  • Clean, prepare, and repack kits in accordance with established directives

The aforementioned responsibilities of the position describe the general nature and level of work and are not an exhaustive list.

Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm.

Pay Information: $18.50 per hour, plus any applicable shift differentials for working any late nights, overnights, and on the weekends.

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

What you Need to Succeed:

  • High School or equivalent required.

  • Up to one-year related experience preferred.

  • Basic reading, writing, communications, computer, and math skills required .

  • Ability to work on a team.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs frequently ; lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. with assistance or the use of a powered industrial truck. Frequently required to push carts weighing up to 250 pounds on flat flooring or ramps. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb ladders or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
