Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki, a leading manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products, seeks a warehouse/logistics professional in the Wheeling, IL area.

The role focuses on cycle counting, high velocity inventory management, and accurate ERP-driven stock control. The candidate should have 1–5 years of warehouse experience, strong communication, and a safety-first mindset, with proficiency in QAD/ERP and MS Office.

• Uses QAD and RF guns; operates material handling equipment as required.
• Serves as a backup for other areas of warehouse operations.
• Other tasks/functions as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans the annual cycle count program to ensure all items are counted according to the latest revision of the cycle count procedure.
• Performs monthly portions of cycle counts in accordance with the cycle count plan.
• Serves as the go-to person for inventory problem resolution.
• Manages the High Velocity area of the warehouse, including: running and analyzing QAD reports to determine entry and exit lists for the High Velocity area; using QAD to set up new High Velocity items and remove obsolete ones; and managing High Velocity Overstock locations.
• Manages the Replenishment of the High Velocity area. Runs sectional replenishment reports in QAD and replenishes the relevant locations to minimize stock-outs.
• Uses QAD and RF guns.
• Operates material handling equipment, including forklifts, stock pickers, and other types of equipment as required.
• Serves as a backup for other areas of the warehouse operations: Shipping, Receiving, Pick SO, Pick FAS.
• Other tasks/functions as assigned.
