Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Ensure on-shelf availability and accuracy of planograms.
• Review reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute front end and pharmacy asset protection and file claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods.
• In designated stores, open/close the store, handle cash and cashier duties, and prepare floor and stock room for business day.
