Job summary

JBS USA in Greeley, CO is seeking an Inventory Assistant to support the Accounting department at the Value Added Plant. The position is salary non-exempt and starts at $23.00 per hour, with benefits including paid vacation, holidays, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities include SAP data entry for inventory, invoice reconciliation, receiving and distributing supplies, and performing cycle counts to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting/inventory experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Accurately input inventory adjustments to SAP for vendor received materials/plant transfers
• Compile received invoices and packing lists with daily Receipt Evaluation Report
• Reconcile vendor invoice discrepancies and work with accounting, Accounts Payable, and vendors to resolve problems
• Work through Goods Received/Invoice Received problems to resolution
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jack, and forklift as needed
• Receive supplies into the storeroom and distribute to requesters
• Perform cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist in maintaining chemical inventory
• Other duties assigned
