Job summary

West Elm in Salem, NH is seeking a Stockroom/Inventory Associate to receive shipments, maintain accurate stock records and organize the stockroom efficiently. You will replenish the sales floor, assist on peak times, and ensure merchandise is properly ticketed and logged for distribution.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of customer service experience and comfort with scanners and lifting up to 75 lbs. Full-time availability is preferred; weekend shifts are required for part-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred, stockroom (or related) experience preferred.
• Ability to operate scanning equipment and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Full-time associates should have open availability; part-time requires weekend + weekday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and accurately maintain inventory records.
• Maintain stockroom and off-site locations; replenish sales floor after shipments or recovery periods.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in stockroom or prepare for distribution to sales floor.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories; stock merchandise on shelves or off-site locations.
• Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries; transport to/from remote stockrooms; ensure inventory accuracy.
