Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Material Handler Specialist for inventory in Clear Brook, VA. The role focuses on efficient movement, handling, and storage of medical-surgical products within the distribution center to ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, verifying lot numbers and expirations, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, storing and staging orders, and maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling, preferably in medical/pharma.
• Certified forklift/pallet jack operation is preferred; training available if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect shipments of medical-surgical supplies and equipment.
• Verify quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates against orders.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks) safely.
• Store products in designated locations and optimize space.
• Pick and stage orders per customer specifications and procedures.
• Pack and label outgoing shipments securely for transit.
• Conduct cycle counts and participate in inventory processes.
