Job summary

Innovim LLC in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a contractor to provide Property Inventory Management support for NESDIS, entering and processing accountable personal property in the Sunflower Asset Management System (Sunflower), which serves as the system of record.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process accountable personal property in the Sunflower Asset Management System (Sunflower), serving as the NESDIS system of record.
• Maintain current custodial records for all accountable personal property within the custodial area.
• Identify and report to the Property Accountability Officer any property excess to the needs of the custodial area.
• Submit reports promptly to the Property Accountability Officer for lost, missing, stolen, damaged, or unserviceable property.
• Affix property identification number (bar code) labels onto accountable personal property.
• Participate in the employee separation clearance process to ensure all property is accounted for, including signing the Separation Clearance Certificate (CD-126).
• Maintain a record of property removed for use or repair outside the custodial area and ensure loaned property is returned on loan expiration.

Key Responsibilities

• The contractor shall provide Property Inventory Management support with duties that include entering.
• and processing accountable personal property within the Sunflower Asset Management System (Sunflower), which serves as the NESDIS system of record.
• Maintain current custodial records for all accountable personal property within their assigned custodial area.
• Identify and report to the Property Accountability Officer any property excess to the needs of the custodial area.
• Submit appropriate reports promptly to the Property Accountability Officer for lost, missing, stolen, destroyed, damaged, or rendered unserviceable accountable personal property.
• Affix property identification number (bar code) labels onto accountable personal property.
• Participate in the employee separation clearance process by ensuring that all assigned property has been accounted for, to include signing section of the CD-126, Separation Clearance Certificate.
• Maintain a record of accountable personal property assigned to his/her custodial area that is removed for use or repair outside of the custodial area.
• Ensure that loaned accountable personal property is returned upon expiration of the loan.
