Job summary

Amazon Kirkland is seeking a warehouse associate to move and expedite materials, verify packaging and tagging, and use ERP systems to manage parts flow. You will work with quality control, purchasing, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, standing for long shifts, and proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office. Prior supply chain or inventory experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Benefits are provided.

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32.00/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits are provided. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location.

Key job responsibilities
  • Physically move and expedite materials when required to support production and meet work order completion schedule.
  • Verify all materials are packaged/bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor.
  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts.
  • Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
  • Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry picker, and hand carts.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience, or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, all with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience
  • 2+ year experience using MS excel, able to navigate and interpret data

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
