Job summary

SPL in Artesia, NM seeks an experienced Inventory Specialist II to support measurement operations. You will manage inventory from request to receipt and distribution, monitor stock, analyze discrepancies, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to keep materials moving efficiently.

The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and ownership in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include cycle counts, audits, and data validation across systems, plus supporting audits and month-end

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or related function.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling, shipping/receiving, and order management.
• Experience researching discrepancies and taking corrective actions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/CRM/order-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory activities from request through receipt and distribution.
• Perform cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations; research variances.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Process quotes, tickets, orders and related transactions.
• Support internal stakeholders and external customers with inventory needs.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving and distribution activities; use material-handling equipment.
