Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist II for 1st shift in Clayton, IN. The role emphasizes accuracy in inventory, adherence to QA procedures, and safe movement of materials in the warehouse.

You will work Tuesday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements. The position requires familiarity with Microsoft Office and a willingness to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Ensure QA processes are followed and documented.
• Perform regular product counts and verify counts.
• Stage materials in designated areas as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools.
• Utilize WMS to maintain work documents.

First Shift: Tuesday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm

As the Inventory Specialist, your strong work ethic and attention to the small details will ensure our operations continue to run smoothly.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Ensure quality assurance processes and procedures are followed
• Perform product counts
• Stage materials within designated areas, as needed
• Operate all necessary warehouse equipment and tools
• Utilize a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime, as needed

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and greater than 50 lbs. occasionally
• Move materials weighing up to 500 lbs. using wheeled carts
