JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Specialist I is responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and performing warehouse audits to ensure accurate inventory tracking. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient in MS Office applications. Experience with SAP WM a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies, including: ABC Counts Short List Counts Assigned Counts Pulling pallets for any special projects
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations
  • Conduct warehouse audits in multiple areas, including: Inbound receiving Picking operations E-commerce and bulk processing
  • Outbound shipping
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations and as directed by management.
  • Ability to be certified on Industrial Power Equipment (Reach Truck, Forklift, Order Picker)
  • Shared resources between multi-sites
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethics.
  • Must operate heavy machinery – certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer and/or RF device
  • Extended or long periods of standing and walking
  • Repetitive Motion
  • Regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
  • Regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to reach, pull, and push up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate power equipment (reach truck, order picker, pacer/standup forklift)
  • Ability to work in various temperatures
