Job summary

Wieland is hiring an Inventory Specialist in Delaware, OH for an on-site role. The position focuses on processing incoming/outgoing supplies, controlling inventory, and maintaining audit-ready records.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, with a Monday–Thursday schedule (6:00am–4:30pm) and biweekly pay. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field with 2+ years in inventory management, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree, plus a PIT license and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 2+ years inventory management experience OR 8 years professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Power Industrial Truck license is required.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Controls inventory of finished goods to fulfill forecasted sales and distribution plans.
• Monitors and updates master schedule for inventory turnover and forecasting.
• Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, demand, and shipment schedules to determine reorder levels.
• Maintains and updates inventory system.
• Creates/reviews reports to identify trends and support actions.
• Conduct Cycle Count processes to ensure accuracy.
• Schedule Cycle Count categories and maintain records.
• Optimize space utilization in storage areas.
• Notify Purchasing Dept. of shortages impacting availability.
