Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc in Delaware, OH is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage inventory, maintain records for audits, and assist in coordinating stock and materials on-site. The role focuses on controlling inventory, cycle counts, and ensuring accurate data to support forecasted sales and timely distribution.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, with experienced qualifications. Schedule is 1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, biweekly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field plus 2+ years of inventory management experience.
• Power Industrial Truck license and usage required.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Controls inventory of finished goods to fulfill forecasted sales and distribution plans.
• Monitors and updates master schedule to reflect turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and controls.
• Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, demand, and schedules to determine reorder levels.
• Maintains and updates inventory system.
• Creates and reviews reports to identify trends and support actions.
• Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain records.
• Create efficient space utilization plan.
• Notify Purchasing Dept. of shortages or other problems affecting availability.
