Job summary

Cummings Electrical is hiring an Inventory Clerk at our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. You will support inventory accuracy and efficient production flow, working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, receiving and inspecting materials, operating forklifts, and generating reports while ensuring safety and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Record inventory movements in the WMS and other inventory systems, maintaining accurate, real-time stock levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts, reporting discrepancies to the Inventory Supervisor.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and condition.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to move and store materials.
• Organize inventory to ensure materials are easily accessible for production and operational needs.
• Ensure materials, components, and finished goods are available to meet production schedules.
• Process inventory transactions, including stock adjustments, returns, and order fulfillment.
• Participate in audits to confirm inventory accuracy and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols for material handling and equipment use, maintaining an organized and hazard-free work environment.
• Generate inventory reports and assist the Inventory Supervisor and Warehouse Manager with administrative or operational tasks as needed.
