Job Description
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for scheduling inbound and outbound freight, data entry and allocation of the freight.The Inventory Coordinator must have strong time management and attention to detail skills.
Essential Functions:
- Scheduling inbound and outbound freight.
- Answer emails/phone calls for freight deliveries and schedule the appointments.
- Receive material codes into JET and assure the accuracy of freight, according to the BOL/packing list.
- Unload freight from trucks (paper and materials) when needed.
- Separate freight for inspection.Pull samples for the Quality and Account Services Department.
- Creates BOL’s for outbound shipments (DJ Thompson, Mystic, Donnelley).
- Verify and recount material pulled from inventory.
- Pull material for various clients to ship.
- Preform inventory by physically counting material for customer service.
- Enter counts into the inventory system and adjust quantities.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor and Director as needed.
- Assist in warehouse as needed.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Promotes company values and culture.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- One or more years’ experience operating a ride-on/electric pallet jack and High Reach required.
- One or more years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment preferred.
- Previous experience in forklift and high reach operation preferred but not required.
- Experience on a safety team or related training a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail. Must be able to distinguish material codes while counting material. Incorrect entries cause adjustments to be automatically taken out of the system.
- Basic math skills: multiplication skills used daily, which reflect the adjustment of inventory assets.
- Ability to schedule inbound freight while working with dispatchers. Must adhere to JSM’s scheduling and resolving any conflict with dispatchers.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance and regulations.
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent bending and stooping.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently.
- Beneficial:
