Job summary

viaPhoton is seeking an inventory specialist to keep our supply chain moving by managing inventory with precision at our Naperville site. You will track parts from arrival to shipment, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure teams have what they need when they need it.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Careful attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Ability to work self-directed and follow procedures consistently.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and general inventory management practices.
• Follow safety policies and procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies, misplaced items, and inventory concerns.
• Process inbound material inspections and verify received goods.
• Fulfill order picking requests from customer service and sales teams.
• Process inventory reports, audit reports, and investigate over/short/trash requests.
• Help improve inventory management processes and procedures.

Schedule: Mon–Fri | Onsite, Hours: 3:30pm - 1:00am

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00/hr, plus a $2,000 prepaid card for medical expenses (prorated based on start date)
