Job summary

Nova-Tech Engineering in Willmar, MN is seeking an Inventory Specialist to contribute to the flow of materials across our supply chain. You will receive, inspect, log shipments, organize storage, and prepare production kits.

You'll maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts and updates in Microsoft D365, pack items for shipment, and support team operations with training and meetings. Forklift experience and basic computer skills are helpful; lifting up to 70 lbs is required.

Inventory Specialist
Pay Range: $17.50 - $22.00/Hour

What we’re looking for:

• Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming shipments into the inventory system
• Organize and store materials in designated locations
• Create production kits and fulfill parts requests
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and record updates utilizing Microsoft D365
• Pack and prepare parts, equipment, and materials for shipment
• Replenish Kanban bins to support production flow
• Coordinate recycling pickups with external vendors
• Support team operations by training new members and participating in meetings
• Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

What you’ll do:As an Inventory Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving the flow of materials across our supply chain. This position oversees the receiving, storing, cycle counting, kitting, and distribution of goods.
Other key areas include:

• Strong attention to detail
• Visual ability to perform detailed inventory and warehouse tasks
• Strong reading and logistical skills
• Effective communication skills with strong follow-through
• Demonstrate basic computer skills (ex: e-mail, excel, Inventory Management System)
• Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds with potential up to 70lbs
• Ability to drive company vehicle
• Forklift experience preferred
